Still Living The Dream
There’s a great recap video from our recent Live the Dream 2009 Women’s Conference over at livethedream.healingplacechurch.org that you should go check out.
It was such a great win for everyone. Our guests – from Baton Rouge and from all over the country and around the world – our guest speakers from England and Australia – and so many joining in online (over a thousand) – from countries all over – I know God changed a lot of lives during those 48 hours. And what a win for our team here at Healing Place Church – so many volunteers working SO hard and SO selflessly to make it all come together. DeLynn and I are just overwhelmed with thankfulness.
If you’re in the Baton Rouge area, I want to make you aware – we’re going to air a special two-hour Live the Dream on WBTR television (Cox Cable channel 19) at 8pm this Sunday night. Make sure to save the date and spread the word!
Also, make sure you register for Live the Dream 2010! We’re excited to have J John and Joyce Meyer as our special guests and we’ll be in our new Healing Place Church Arena, too! Early registration pricing is only good through this Sunday, November 1, so don’t forget!
One last thing: I’d like to ask you what was your favorite moment at Live the Dream 2009? I saw where Beth Forbus asked this question on twitter and I thought it’d be cool to let you share your thoughts about it here. Click the comment link and let us know!

I found ME again! Each one of the speakers spoke directly to my broken soul…I thank God for providing the path to this amazing event! I am a PRISONER! A PRISONER OF HOPE!
So..when are you building a church over here in The Woodlands, Texas? (giggle.)

The “Joey Full Souls” Clown Ministry at HPC had the opportunity to face paint the women at the After Party. We arrived with apron and feathers in hair to bless the women by serving.
What a blessing for me (personally) as I testified/ministered/blessed the women during the face painting! God is awesome. Face painting designs consisted of Angel Wings, Butterflies, Princess, and Beautiful Somethings. All the while sharing God’s love and purpose to the Women at LTD.
Hope and Dream —which all come from the Creator, Daddy God, what better words describe his Princess and desire for a relationship with us.
Thank you for the opportunity to use my gifts/talents, to minister and sow seed in women who came to LTD 09. It was a special blessing to me as I was free to (express my ministry talent) talk about GOD!

I love every moment!! My new fav speaker besides you and Delynn of course, lol, is Charlotte Gambill. Love her!!! But that Cinderella skit was hilarious, you’ve got to put it on you tube, the website, somewhere so we can watch it again.

This was the first time attending a Live The Dream conference. The experience was incredible and I feel so blessed and thankful to have been sponsored to attend this event with several other young chicks on fire for God.
The entire event knocked my socks off but the moment I cherished the most was stopping in the hall of the sanctuary to read the prayers of all the women who wrote a letter to Jesus. Such love, such need, such hope, so much desire for change in the world and in their lives. There were some GREAT love letters to Jesus and it consumed my heart with passion.
Also, Tyler and Paul’s voice over of the Cinderella clip had me rolling on the floor! Thank you HPC!!!

*whoooosh* I had MANY favorite moments. But, what makes my hand shoot up like a third grader that has to potty is the message about “throwing away the nursing baby and being a person of influence”, by Charlotte Gambel. *whoooosh* I mean to tell ya, that broke, spoke and woke me! And I didn’t even think I had a baby I was nursing. *laughs*
Also, I have to say another moment stood out and made me laugh till I fell out. It was that Cinderella skit done by Tullos and Charbonnet. The best ever!!!
I Thank God for placing me at HPC to Reach, Build, Serve, Give, Laugh, Love, Cry and do it all over again!

I loved the challenge of walking away from conference and hanging on to all that God planted in me letting it take deep root and not wither away. I have kept on living the dream through resources I picked and I have continued to be smoked and convicted by the Holy Spirit.
So unbelievably blessed to be under the incredible leadership that we have at HPC and very glad to call it my home. Thanks for paving the way and allowing us to stand on the shoulders of such amazing men and women of God!

Thank you for extending the invitation to join online. It was an incredible experience and I came away with so much. Each speaker brought something relevant for every woman (and man).
It’s hard to choose just one moment. The whole online experience made me feel like I had a front row seat most of the time. It was easy for me to engage and ‘lean in’. Each message spoke to my heart.

there were so many for me. (i know… i’m a dude.. but i ain’t skeerd. this wasn’t just a women’s conference. it transcended that) the truth and the Spirit of God that was there for those of us engaging in it online – it was powerful.
there are so many moments that stand out, but one of them for me was elton veals jr singing “The Response” – about Africa. i love that song.
in fact (shameless plug here) we’re playing that video in our online campus services this week (two more experiences this week – tonight at 8pm CT and friday morning at 11amCT) – at http://online.healingplacechurch.org – would love to invited all your blog readers to check it out!

By far……..the best moment to me was the Praise & Worship towards the end of Saturday. The quiet, still-small voice of the Lord was surely there and I don’t know if there was a soul in the room that didn’t feel it! Wow! Still cry when I think of it….
