Kinda Like Ezra
On November 9 we’ll start a week of prayer and Bible reading in our new Healing Place Church Arena. I can’t say it’s better than Ezra, but this whole idea is something I really feel is similar to what Ezra did in Nehemiah 8 (you should check out that story when you get a second – very cool). There’s a lot to be said for the meaningfulness of leading the way into our new place of worship with the reading of the Word of God.
The Word of God makes all the difference. His Word brings life, truth, freedom, healing, hope, salvation, grace, mercy… everything we need can be found within the Word of God.

I was guided to HPC for the Men’s conference in March. This was a very new way for me to experience God coming from a background where I was told how to experience God. I had one foot in HPC and the other well, it wasn’t being lead by God. I went to services off and on, even did Br Wayne’s Life for Marriage class with my girl friend. But I wasn’t being a complete man of God. I managed to possibly lose my best friend in the world for not listening and obeying God. I can’t explain what has transpired over the last 4 days of my life other than to say that God is dealing with me like never before, I’ve been going to church regularly for the past month. The thirst and desire I feel the please God at this very moment is like nothing I’ve ever experienced! I can’t turn off the flow of emotions and tears that God has blessed me with today. I now understand so much more of what kind of man God wants me to be, and I cannot wait to be a HPC tonight to Worship and Praise my God. May God bless you always. Terry
